One aspect where “Thalaimai Seyalagam” could have improved is in its world-building. The series starts off in Jharkhand, introducing a 15-year-old crime, and then abruptly shifts to the present day with the case being transferred to the CBI. This rapid transition may leave viewers momentarily confused about the identity of the initial victim, as they are introduced to Chief Minister Arunachalam.

The ending of ‘Thalaimai Seyalagam’ brings everything full circle, connecting back to the series’ title in a wonderful way. It emphasizes that real change can only happen when decisions are made at the highest level, at the headquarters. With some characters meeting their demise and others leaving room for a potential return in a second season, we can’t help but wonder what the future holds.
