It brought back all those amazing Percy Jackson vibes that we know and love. The visuals, the characters, and the storyline were all on point.
Even though there were some visual tweaks here and there, the characters’ personalities felt spot-on. Percy was undeniably Percy, Annabeth stayed true to herself, and Grover had some extra depth that added to his character. Oh my goodness, I completely agree with you! When you have the creator of the books involved in making the show, magic happens! And let me tell you, this show is pure magic! It’s faithful to the books, funny, fast-paced, and it tugs at your heartstrings too.
I absolutely loved what they did with Gabe to highlight Sally’s character. Such a brilliant move! And that minotaur scene? Exceptional! The locations and the dialogues are just top-notch. It’s like they brought the pages of the books to life.
And let’s talk about the cast! Walker is absolutely hilarious and perfect as Percy. His chemistry with the rest of the cast is off the charts. You can’t help but root for him as the lead. And I couldn’t agree more, they’re really fleshing out Grover and his dynamics with Percy. It’s so cool to see their friendship develop on screen.
Oh, and don’t even get me started on Percy and Annabeth’s chemistry! It’s so good, it gives me all the feels. Leah Jeffries absolutely nails every line delivery. She’s incredible!
